Julianne Moore

Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is a Hollywood writer and actor who's talent has brought the attention of critics and recognition. She's a Sagittarius born on December 3 1960, in North Carolina. She's the eldest of three siblings born in the home of Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper as well as Anne psychologist. The Moore family is English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Moore was often in and out of her family due to the work for her father. This was a challenge to keep or meet new friends. Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School in Germany when her parents moved to the United States. Moore began her career in theatre. She continued her education at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with a B.F.A. In 1983 she graduated with a B.F.A. Moore was a graduate of the college in New York and started her career as an off-Broadway actress after moving into New York. In 1985 she made her television debut in the episode The Edge of Night. In 1986, she played in the roles of Frannie and Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns which became her break. In 1988, she was an actor on the series and was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, her first film appearance came in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The film was later criticized as a poor low-budget production. She was in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both productions of Robert Altman. The critically acclaimed performance of her in Short Cuts (1993) earned her several nominations. Moore was first cast as a lead in Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to portray the role of the protagonist for Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was among the most popular movies released during the time. The actress received an SAG nomination in 1999 for the role she played in Magnolia, a critically acclaimed film. The Hours, a 2002 film she costarred in with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep received nominations for nine Academy Awards. Her other films include The Forgotten 2004 Freedomland 2006. Shelter (2010), among others. In 2014 she appeared in Non-Stop. Moore is a veteran of many television shows and movies. Most recently, she starred as the lead character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). The career of an actress in Hollywood has established itself, and she's also a novelist for children that has been published. She published her first book in 2007 Freckleface Strawberry, which became an NY Times bestseller. The book was a huge best seller, and was later adapted to a television series along with a musical. In 2013 Moore released her novel My Mother Is a Stranger. Moore being a popular author and performer she has also made her private life public. She divorced John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore then married in 2003 has two children with her. Moore's job, her friends and family are the most important things in her life.
